Read carefully before purchase. By purchasing OneWorld Robotics Competition registration, you acknowledge you have read & accepted the terms and conditions below.
Chaperone Policy: Students must be in the company of their team coach(s) (18+ years old, and registered to attend) at all times. Each team is required to have one registered Team Coach per five students. A Group maximum of ten students would require at minimum two Team Coaches. Students may not leave the designated event area unaccompanied for any reason. A Parent/Guardian/Team Coach, must travel with the student.
Refund Policy: Registration fees and cost of starter kits are not refundable after the date of physical shipment.
Sick Student Policy: If you suspect your student is unwell, please do not bring your student to the event. Please do not put other students at risk or your own students’s well-being in jeopardy by bringing them to any OneWorld Robotics hosted events when they are unwell. If your student becomes sick during a OneWorld Robotics hosted event, your Team Coach(s) will be required to remove the student from the venue and attend a medical service.
Behaviour Policy: students may not hit, kick, bite, slap, fight, use inappropriate language, and/or display or share inappropriate material. If your student is involved in those activities, you will be immediately contacted and your student will be dismissed from the OneWorld Robotics Competition into your care. Please speak with your student in advance about the importance of avoiding profanity and foul language. There are no refunds for students dismissed for inappropriate behaviour on the day.
Participation is dependent on online mandatory form which will be emailed to you soon after registration. If you do not complete the form prior to the event, OneWorld Robotics Competition cannot guarantee adequate staff, venue space or activities for your team, your team may be refused entry for safety reasons.
If any students appears to be younger than the minimum school year group for the competition, you may be asked to provide proof of the students year group age from their respective school, or proof of prior exception by OneWorld Robotics.
Meals & Other Food/Drink not provided. For any events, please plan to pack and send your students food needs for the day.
Teams are responsible for any additional costs, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, personal insurance.
